Gary Jensen is a shareholder working out of the Bakersfield, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Maria offices.
Mr. Jensen joined Barbich Longcrier Hooper & King in 1985. His focus is in the accounting and auditing area. He performs auditing and other attest services. He is responsible for the quality control of the accounting and auditing services for the San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria offices.
His experience includes a wide range of services covering many different industries. He also performs business valuation, litigation support analysis, quality control reviews under AICPA Peer Review Program and management of client accounts.
Mr. Jensen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Bakersfield. In addition to being a licensed CPA, Mr. Jensen is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the AICPA. Business valuations, performed include closely held corporations, partnerships, limited family partnerships, limited liability companies and proprietorships.
Mr. Jensen is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a reviewer under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants peer review program and has served on the California Society of Certified Public Accountants quality review committee which oversees the State’s peer review process.
Mr. Jensen is the president of the Board of Trustees for Lakeside Union School District, enjoys spending time with his family, and is very active in youth baseball.
